ISH Dance Collective and De Meervaart present Masters of Movement on Sunday 27 March, a large-scale event in which the Dutch street culture communities are central. Throughout Meervaart – from the foyer to the main hall – the disciplines of breaking, freestyle and street football come together in a packed program of battles, showcases, culture talks and workshops. Rules
During the Masters of Movement Freestyle competition participants will battle 1 vs 1 – 3 rounds each & no time limit. When we will have the qualifications we will use the group circles (4 freestylers on the battle floor - 2 rounds). After the qualifications we will make a Top 6. Then numbers 7, 8, 9 & 10 will battle it out for the last two places in the Top 8 battles. The main criteria where participants will be judged on are: creativity (unique movements), execution(style & flow), variety of movements during a battle + tournament & control. The difficulty of the tricks is not the most important criteria during this competition. We will looking for a freestyler with an unique style, flow & variety of movements.

It will be held on the legendary square Beursplein - from (11 -) 12am – 4pm.
