ISH Dance Collective and VROG presents the second edition of Masters of Movement on Saturday 6th of January 2024 in Amsterdam, a large-scale event in which the Dutch street culture communities are central. In the Underground location of VROG the disciplines of breaking, freerunning and freestyle football come together in a packed program of battles, showcases and workshops. Together organised with Amsterdam Breaking Community, VROG & Freestyle Voetbal Nederland
During this event we will organize a 2 vs 2 freestyle football competition. Finally after our first 2 vs 2 competition during The Hague Freestyle League 2019, we come back with a new edition, but this time during Masters of Movement in Amsterdam!
The 2 vs 2 battle - We think it is great to share the battle floor with another freestyler and battle together as a crew. It will give another vibe and you can share that moment with your crewmate. To give you more insight about how the battles will go here you have the rules.

Rules
Qualifications
Both freestylers show their skills together in one round of max 1 minute. After that, the judges will make a Ranking. Feel free how you want to fill in that round, but of course the judges will give you higher points if you combine tricks & movements with your crewmate. It does not need be a double routine, but try to find few ways to mix something together. Be creative and do your thing.
Extra Round to reach the Top 8
The best 4 duos will immediately go to Top 8. The others have to battle to go into the Top 8.
About the battles for the Extra Round & Top 8
The first 2 rounds you will perform a solo round. The last round has to be round where both freestylers has to perform and combine a trick or tricks together. Again, feel free how you want to fill in that round, but of course the judges will give you higher points if you combine tricks & movements with your crewmate. It does not need be a double routine, but try to find few ways to mix something together. Be creative and do your thing. All Battles are no time limit.
Semi Final, 3rd place and Final battle
Again you will have 3 rounds in total. At least one round has to be a round where both freestylers are performing and combine a tricking tricks together - but the duo can decide if they do more than 1 round together - it could be 2 rounds or maybe all of them. They can also decide if it is going to be the first, second or third roudn that the want to perform together.
Criteria
Just like the last edition of Masters of Movement in 2022. The main criteria where participants will be judged on are: creativity (unique movements), execution(style & flow), variety of movements during a battle + tournament & control. The difficulty of the tricks is not the most important criteria during this competition. The round in each battle where the freestylers are freestyling as a duo - will be more valued for the judges than the individual rounds. Also here the creativity, style and flow of the movements together is higher valued then the difficulty.
Side competition: Best Trick (solo)
We will create a big circle with all the participants. Your best trick could be one big move or a short but powerful combo (uppers, lowers, sitdowns, transitions). So be prepared and let’s entertain everybody.
